Run! Wait!....the other way!!

Hahaha!! Watching a 4 year old play T-Ball is just as hilarious as you can imagine. They don't have a clue what they are doing and it's pure entertainment for us parents. Easton's game was last Thursday. Three nights of the week we are at the ballpark for games or practices. My crock-pot is going to be used alot this summer!

(This is a true picture. Paul went in to check on him and found him like this. We had to get a picture of it.)

We bought Easton his very own blue and orange Easton baseball bat. ("Hey, my name is on the bat mom!" ) Anyway, Easton is in LOVE with this bat. He calls it his lucky bat and the first night he got it, he fell asleep with it in his bed. Well, you all know how territorial Easton is and at the game some of the little boys wanted to use his bat and we feel like if you take your bat to the game, your gonna have to let others play with it. Easton didn't like this at all. So here is what happens when a four-year-old is determined to not let others use his "lucky-bat." Oh, I almost peed my pants laughing!

Most of the game is spent yelling things like, "Run!...the other way!" "No! GO Back! Go back!" "Stand up! Don't take your shoes off!" "Stop throwing grass!" "Don't throw the ball at him!" "First! NO...that's third!" Like I said. Pure entertainment. :)

Really though, Easton is pretty good for his age. We took him to the batting cages with Allie and he got in there and could hit those balls! Once he has a clue which way to run....he will be really good. haha! ;)

The other day, the sun actually came out and made for a nice warm day. We pulled out the sprinkler and let the kids run through it. It was such a nice change from all the rain!

I'm glad we enjoyed that single, solitary, sunny day because the very next day is rained cats and dogs. And here is how we feel about THAT!......
